Labour market in good shape?

The latest positive macroeconomic signals have had a beneficial effect on the Polish labour market in Poland, but as Sławek Szefs reports, it seems that the nearest months are bound to be accompanied by persisting fears and reservations.

“One of the […] reasons for this is that a majority of employees have fixed term contracts. Open ended contracts have ceased to be an obvious and standard practice, remaining mostly as a desired but often difficult to attain solution,” says Agnieszka Bulik from Randstad Research Institute which compiled the latest Labour Market Monitor.
