Five ships prepared to sail across the Arctic waters of the island of Greenland, are being constructed in the Polish ‘Remontowa Shipbuilding’ shipyard in Gdańsk.

The government of Denmark ordered the vessels to let them transport all necessary goods from the continent to the citizens of the polar area. On Wednesday there was a launch of one of the ships.

The CEO of Royal Arctic Line Jens Andersen visited Gdańsk on this occasion. Our correspondent Maciej Bąk had an opportunity to talk with him about this contract and why they decided to let the Polish shipyard construct vessels for Greenland.
