Eighty-one Polish firefighters flew in to Katmandu earlier today. The HUSAR Polish heavy search and rescue team has since been joined by a rapid response medical team from the Polish Centre for International Aid (PCPM).
“People buried under the debris stand a high chance of survival for up to 72 hours – after that the odds are quickly turning against them,” says Wojciech Wilk, head of PCPM.
