Warsaw Book Fair draws thousands

As Michał Owczarek reports, the event gathers 850 international exhibitors that come from 29 countries. This year the guest of honour is France. A growing sector each year has been the exhibition area for comic book lovers, but the event has a lot more to offer.

“Last year we had 63,000 visitors. This year is special because of France being the honorary guest, so more foreign authors are coming, and that’s why we can expect about 70,000 visitors during the four days [of the event],” says Jacek Oryl, director of the Fair.
