Poland trumped in Eurovision Song Contest
Sweden triumphed in the jubilee 60th Eurovision Song Contest held this weekend in Vienna.

As Elżbieta Krajewska reports, for Poland, it was also a time to celebrate and root for Monika Kuszyńska in the final - the second time ever that a Polish singer had qualified.
Monika Kuszyńska made us all sit up and take notice. Because she happens not only to be a beautiful young woman with a beautiful voice but a courageous one, too.
One-time vocalist of one of Poland’s top bands, Varius Manx, Monika Kuszyńska was paralysed from the waist down after the band’s horrific car accident in 2006. Against all odds, she came back to the stage four years later, however.
