The Arabian horse is one of the most popular horse breeds in the world. It originated on the Arabian Peninsula and many experts consider the Arabian horse to be one of the finest breeds.

The Arabian Horse Racing Conference, which took place in the Polish capital from 27th May to 28th May, is one of the most important events of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.

The conference is followed by three horse races that take place at the Służewiec racetrack on Sunday.

Why is the conference held in Poland? Agnieszka Łaszczuk reports.

“Regarding Poland and the history of the Arabian, although the Arabian has moved on slightly in development, […] I think it is very important for all these countries to keep that heritage,” said Genny Haynes, Arabian Racing Organisation Director.
