Poland-Canada trade set to grow?

With positive economic growth for the past several years, Poland has also attracted the attention of the Canadian private sector with that country’s Trade Commissioner Service in Warsaw having seen an increasing number of new clients and activity in many key sectors.

“Canada is almost ready to go ahead with CETA, which is an economic agreement with the European Union, this is going to abolish almost 80 percent of the tariffs and the bilateral business is going to be huge,” Margaret Bonikowska, editor-in-chief of Gazeta, the largest Polish-language daily published in Canada, told our reporter Danuta Isler.
