OFFSIDE :: Poland's moderate success at Baku Games

The 1st edition of the European Games closed on Sunday in Baku, with Poland achieving a reasonable success there, having won 20 medals.

The tournament was devised three years ago as an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of Europe, with Baku being the first host city.

Also in the program:

- Marcin Gortat and his MG13 Foundation are the recipients of the 2015 Jan Nowak-Jeziorański Award for Public Service. US Ambassador Stephen Mull presented the award in Warsaw.
