  • Michał Owczarek investigates the upcoming Rock Legends Festival.
Believe it or not, the place in Poland where legendary rock veterans flock to every year is not Warsaw, Kraków or Wrocław.

It is actually a tiny, secluded village in the northern part of the country called Dolina Charlotty or Charlotta Valley.

For the past 8 years the valley has has seen giggs from such rock stars as The Animals, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper and Carlos Santana. The latter is just coming over again to play this Saturday.

Another headliner will be ZZ Top performing Friday. On the occasion Michał Owczarek went to Dolina Charlotty to see the show in the making.

"Carlos Santana already visited Dolina Charlotty two years ago. I'm sure he remembers the visit very well. He was very fond of the whole place and show," said Wojciech Kałuża, Rock Legends Festival Coordinator.
