But, as Sławek Szefs reports, in the case of Poland their stay is usually not for long.
Poland does not have a coherent immigration policy, says Adam Bulandra from the Interkulturalni PL association.
"There is a lack of sufficient integration support which is especially needed in the initial period and which should primarily include a basic language course and assistance in establishing oneself in a new environment,” the expert explains.
