Foreign minister Grzegorz Schetyna has completed a two-day visit to Ireland, the first one by a Polish head of diplomacy in nine years.
Not surprisingly, as Sławek Szefs reports, economic related issues topped the agenda as Ireland remains a very attractive partner for Poland.
"The latest 'Doing Business' report by the World Bank evaluating global business activity and opportunity ranked Ireland a high 13th place among 189 countries of all continents,” Michał Safianik from the Foreign Ministry's Press Office in Warsaw, told Polish Radio.
According to Poland's Economy Ministry figures, Polish-Irish trade turnover increased by EUR 166 mln in 2014 as compared to the previous year.
