Rescuing rare tortoises in the Philippines
The Zoological Garden in Wrocław has sent one of its keepers to lend a helping hand within an international rescue effort in the Philippines, where many rare tortoises have been seized from traffickers.

It’s hoped that the animals will be reintroduced back into the wild.
