American football is arguably the fastest growing sport in Poland. The Polish American Football League (PLFA) started in 2006 with just four teams and has now grown to feature nearly 100 senior and junior teams.

The main focus now, however, for the PLFA is the national team. This effort was given a mighty boost earlier this month by acquiring a new US-born coach Brad Arbon who is going to groom the national team for the 2017 World Games to be staged in the south-western city of Wrocław.

Michał Owczarek spoke to Jędrzej Stęszewski, PLFA Commissioner.

With Brad Arbon it's the next step forward with the best coaching staff in Europe, because it's not only him, as we'll soon announce other big names from big European leagues, said Jędrzej Stęszewski, PLFA Commissioner.
