As Michał Owczarek reports, foreign trips during President Andrzej Duda's first 100 days in office have been announced.

The first one will be to the Estonian capital Tallinn on 23 August. The date is not accidental as the trip was planned to coincide with the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Stalinism on the anniversary of the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, which carved up Poland between Nazi Germany and the USSR and left the Baltic republics under the Soviet yoke.

"It’s worthwhile to discuss issues first with the heads of state of the neighbouring countries or of those around Poland, especially in the light of the current situation we have east of our border,” said Witold Waszczykowski, Law & Justice (PiS) MP and former foreign affairs deputy minister.
