Poland’s president wishes to organize a second referendum on 25 October, the day of parliamentary elections, and covering the three questions he earlier said should be included in the 6 September referendum called by his predecessor Bronisław Komorowski's decision.

It is a consequence of the decision made by then-President Bronisław Komorowski, who wanted to attract the voters of [independent candidate Paweł] Kukiz,” said political scientist Dorota Szelewa from the International Centre for Research and Analysis, referring to the rock veteran and newly styled politician who took a major portion of the votes in the May presidential election.
