It has been dubbed Black Monday: sharp declines in Western stock exchanges everywhere from New York to Berlin. Will the Warsaw Exchange be able to sail unharmed? Roberto Galea finds out.

“Poland is trading with the global markets. There is no reason it should be resilient when European stocks are declining,” said Przemysław Kwiecień, chief economist at X-Trade Brokers.
