Can some of the voiced statements bring real harm to Polish society, other than the prophesied "influx of terrorist groups"?

“If we strongly display our negative feelings towards immigrants, the expected reaction of terrorist organizations will be to convince these persons that the reason for such aggression and slanderous treatment is their Muslim religion... something they must stand up to and fight,” says Gen. Paweł Pruszyński, former deputy head of the Internal Security Agency (ABW).

As Sławek Szefs reports, the reason for the diverging sentiments is simple: the current campaign in the run up to the October scheduled parliamentary elections in this country.
