HIGH NOTE :: Concert of Independence

Held at the Warsaw Rising Museum in Warsaw, this concert of patriotic songs is seeing its seventh edition this year - and this year it is dedicated to times nearer ours: the 35th anniversary of the national protests of 1980 which led to the creation of Solidarity trade union. Ola Turkiewicz, one of the founders and artists of the Concert, also author of patriotic compositions (including "Karbala", dedicated to Polish soldiers, participants of missions abroad) is talking to Elżbieta Krajewska.
