Polish president Andrzej Duda has begun an official five-day visit to China, where apart from having talks with Chinese political leaders he is to participate in economic forums striving to encourage Chinese investment in Poland.

One of the key issues of those talks is the so-called 'New Silk Road' - a strategic component of China's foreign economic politics, focused on the importing technology, development of trade and investments.
As you will hear in this report by Danuta Isler, Poland has already taken advantage of the program following, for example, the creation of a regular rail cargo service between Łódż, central Poland, and Chengdu, south west China.
