The international climate summit starting in Paris on 30 November is to start earlier than planned.

The first talks of the giant United Nations Climate Change conference are to open already this Sunday, with the early start, according to the organisers, is to helping achieve the aim of the conference: that is “a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, from all the nations of the world”.

With COP 21 in Paris just days away, Poland's Minister for Environment Jan Szyszko presented the tenets of Warsaw's position to the Parliamentary environment committee, speaking of the conference objective of reaching a global and just understanding on climate. Poland had already reduced emissions of gases by more than 30 percent, in line with the provisions of the Kyoto protocol, he said.
