Defending World Cup champion Kamil Stoch finished 13th overall with 220,5 points in Klingenthal.

In Poland's application, Łódź, Gdańsk, Katowice, Gliwice and Kraków were put forward as potential host cities.
Stoch was one of six Poles competing in Germany in the first leg of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and the only one to have qualified to the finals.
