Poland at the Paris climate talks

The ongoing 2015 Paris Climate Conference COP 21, which is set to last two weeks, sees world leaders try and thrash out a universal agreement on methods of curbing global climate change.

As Sławek Szefs reports, this deterioration of climatic conditions endangers not only the Earth's natural environment but may ultimately even put in jeopardy the future existence of all life on our planet.

Poland’s prime minister was among the 147 country leaders attending this crucially important event.

"We advocate the active participation of all countries, worldwide, in global climate related policy. They must bear responsibility for the introduced changes and take into account interests of individual economies," Beata Szydło told reporters in Paris.
