He lists the protection of Poland’s national heritage, historical policy and raising the standards of popular culture as his priorities. He also says that Poland should produce a blockbuster focusing on Polish history. Such a film is important “to integrate Poles as a community, and to present to foreign audiences our values and those parts of our history that are unknown to the Western public. It has to be a film of a very high artistic level.”, he says.
