Sławek Szefs reports that there are many convergent points on the Warsaw-London line with regard to British proposals addressed at the European Union, however, the issue of planned cuts in social benefits for immigrants in the UK remains a great concern for the Polish side.

David Cameron's visit to Poland and its timing with regard to the European Council debate on the 'British package' (scheduled for 18 and 19 February) and the upcoming Brexit referendum is not a coincidence, notes Paweł Świdlicki from Open Europe, a London based think-tank.

"Poland has been one of the key figures in these discussions,” the expert told Polish Radio.
