As Michał Owczarek reports, the idea of building the car of the future – one that does not need a driver – has been recently conceived as a project by scientists of the AGH University of Science and Technology, the largest technical university in Poland, located in the southern city of Kraków.

"We have started a new Autonomous Car Laboratory at our university and our plan is to build a self-driving car prototype within 2-3 years," says Marek Długosz of the Automatic Control and Robotics Department.
