The funds raised will be in aid of a small foundation based in South Africa and which is concerned with penguins. The SANCCOB organisation has worked hard to protect the species and through their efforts, the population of this endangered animal has seen a 20 percent increase.

How did it come that Wrocław Zoo was involved with helping penguins in South Africa?

Marta Zając-Ossowska, head of the zoo's marketing and education department, tells Elżbieta Krajewska.

If you want to bid for one of the eggs (authored by Anna Dymna, Jarosław Boberek, prof. Jan Miodek, Marek Krajewski, Renata Mauer-Różańska, L.U.C., Szymon Chodyniecki and Magda Mołek to name a few) head for the charity section of Polish auction website here.
