Filip Wolak is a Polish professional photographer based in New York City specializing in documentary, food and drink, interior, nightlife, event and aerial photography.

He has worked for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, GQ, and Food and Wine, among others.

Time Out named him "the coolest nightlife photographer" in 2015 and Israeli Lens Magazine dubbed him the "most influential photographer" in 2015 for a series of reports from the nightlife scene in New York City.

A few days ago he received the prestigious Sony World Photography Award in the 'Open - Architecture' category, coming ahead of over 230,000 competitors from 186 countries.
