A team-up by Polish and Danish companies to build a gas pipeline is a strategic project for Warsaw, Polish PM Beata Szydło has said.
On Monday she held talks in Warsaw with her Danish counterpart Lars Lokke Rasmussen. As Michał Owczarek reports, Baltic Pipe is to connect the Danish and Polish gas systems and enable Poland to receive the commodity from Norwegian deposits.
“I note with satisfaction that there is understanding for the implementation of this project, and that thanks to this investment Poland’s energy security will be much greater,” PM Szydło said.
