OFFSIDE :: Countdown to Rio Olympics
Polish athletes could bring home 17 medals from the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer, a statistics aggregator has predicted.

According to the analyst Gracenote, which collected metadata related to the international athletics industry, Poland is likely to win five gold medals, three silver and nine bronze medals. Among the Polish athletes likely to win gold medals are discus thrower Piotr Malachowski, and hammer throwers Paweł Fajdek and Anita Włodarczyk.
