On Thursday, London hosted a landmark International Anti-Corruption Summit, with declarations from regional and national organizations setting out concrete actions they intend to take to effectively counter this morally negative and destructive phenomenon.

One of the major problems that the discussion focused on were the activities of so-called tax havens.

Sławek Szefs reports on the growing public awareness and strong political will to effectively deal with the problem.

“There is a kind of changing energy about this debate and it’s becoming higher on the EU and national government agenda and an issue the public feels something needs to be done about,” Benjamin Worthy, a political scientist from Birkbeck College at the University of London, told Polish Radio.
