The Institute of National Remembrance has just launched a website focusing on Poland’s history from the regaining of independence in 1918 to the collapse of communism in 1989.

Tomasz Ginter of the Institute’s Public Education Section tells Radio Poland that it brings together some 3,000 articles, e-books, educational materials, videos, photos and documents.
He says: “For young people, who are mostly our target group, it’s the history of their families, their own property, and this is probably what lies behind uch a big interest in modern history”.
