The Renaissance in Northern Italy
An exhibition at Warsaw’s National Museum brings together nearly 50 paintings by such masters as Raphael and Titian.

In an interview for Radio Poland, the director of the National Museum Agnieszka Morawińska says: “The painters and artists from Brescia [situated half-way between Venice and Milan] were able to build their own style – very precise, very poetic, inventive as far as iconography is concerned. Altogether: outstanding.”
