Poland presses for Baltic Pipe

The project has been one of the major topics discussed during Polish President Andrzej Duda's two-day official visit to Copenhagen.

Sławek Szefs reports that the Baltic Pipe is a strategic undertaking for Poland, which has long been striving to reduce its dependence on Russian imports in an attempt to build up greater energy security.

“We look forward to the results of the feasibility study, which will be presented by the end of this year,” said President Duda addressing a Danish-Polish Business Forum in Copenhagen on Thursday.
