The just-finished European Championships in Amsterdam have been a gold rush for Polish athletes.

After a hat trick of gold medals on Sunday, Poland moved to the top of the medals table with a total of six golds, as Agnieszka Łaszczuk reports.
“This was just a test ahead of the Rio Olympic Games,” says new European champion Angelika Cichocka. “It is [in Rio] where I will be fighting for my dreams,” she adds. Cichocka produced a superb run in the 1500m, winning her a gold medal in the tournament.
