Taking Polish jazz Down Under
Artur Dutkiewicz, one of Poland’s top jazz pianists, recently carried out a tour of Australia and New Zealand.

In an exclusive interview for Radio Poland, he says that one of the most exciting moments was a concert on Waiheke Island near Auckland, where he had the chance to perform on a piano once owned by the great Polish pianist and statesman Jan Ignacy Paderewski.
“It is an old Bechstein, restored and in very good condition,” Dutkiewicz said.
