This month saw the second edition of a conference aimed at bringing young Polish researchers out of their laboratories in academia and - this time - closer to business.

The conference was held at the EITplus facilities in Wrocław, seen by many as a good example of a place where science meets business.
“People working in science should remember that ultimately the things we do need to have some practical application,” says biologist Anna Ajduk, organiser of the Polish Scientific Networks conference, talking to Elżbieta Krajewska.
