Tens of thousands of young people from around the world are already in various parts of Poland – sightseeing and meeting their Polish peers – before heading for Krakow next week for the World Youth Days with Pope Francis.

In an exclusive interview for Radio Poland, press spokesman for the Polish Bishops’ Conference Father Paweł Rytel-Andrianik says that the World Youth Days with Pope Francis will show that “the Church is not Polish, not German, not Italian, but universal”.
He recalls what Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, who accompanied Pope John Paul II on several World Youth Days, keeps on saying: “Each of these events has the power of change.”
