Analysts point out that Clinton would most likely continue the policies of outgoing President Barack Obama.

But does this mean Polish-American relations would be better off than under Donald Trump as president?

In an interview with Michał Owczarek, Clifford Bates of Warsaw University’s American Studies Center offers his take on the matter.

Lifting the US visa regime for Poles “is a problem Poland should fix itself, not something that you’re going to have changed just by getting a good relationship with the new president,” Bates said.
