Chronicling Nazi German atrocities

The major goal of the portal, but also a mission of the centre, is to present and translate postwar investigation materials.

“What you can find there are basically witnesses’ accounts concerning the atrocities conducted by the Nazi Germans,” Wojciech Kozłowski, deputy director of the centre, said in an interview with Radio Poland’s Agnieszka Łaszczuk.

“We started with the Polish version of the portal,” the historian said, adding that the English version is to be launched in a few months.

So far 50 accounts have been translated into English, and are available on zapisyterroru.pl
