The president of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened a two day official visit to Poland Monday.

The main topic on the agenda of talks in Warsaw is enhanced economic cooperation.

Kazakhstan is Poland's fourth economic partner among the Eastern states, Polish and Kazakh companies have been cooperating for many years now, points Monika Kurtek, chief economist from Bank Pocztowy: “Kazakhstan is the major recipient of Polish machine industry products, also chemical industry and agricultural produce. There are over 200 Polish companies already operating in Kazakhstan.”
