Poland to acquire new VIP planes

The government has already launched a tender to buy a total of five planes: two new small- and two new medium-sized planes as well as one used medium-sized aircraft.

Bartosz Kownacki, the deputy defence minister, said, that the acquisition is "not merely a question of security and common sense, but also of dignity for Poland. Anyone who knows how politics works knows that such planes are a necessity. It's a political tool, needed for proper execution of everyday duties of the government.”
