Sławek Szefs reports that the three-day forum, together with accompanying events, abounded in topics relating to macroeconomics, business and management, international politics as well as security, the EU and its neighbors, energy policy, innovation and sustainable development, and health care.

“It would be well grounded to consider the […] debates here as a salon of Central Europe in the truest sense of the term, a salon with the participation of absolutely the most prominent politicians, managers and entrepreneurs,” said Zygmunt Berdychowski from the organizers’ Program Committee.

This year's Man of the Year Award at the Krynica Economic Forum went to Hungarian PM Victor Orban.

In a parallel development, Krynica hosted the annual Polonia Forum - a gathering of representatives of Polish communities scattered all over the world.
