Polish Radio: a DAB+ pioneer
Polish Radio is the pioneer of digital broadcasting in this country, having launched its first DAB+ transmissions three years ago.

It has since been advocating the further development of this modern technology in Poland.
Still, despite considerable financial and organisational efforts of the public broadcaster, the response of commercial stations has been very cautious.
Radio Poland's Joachim Ciecierski talked about this and related issues with Graham Dixon, head of Radio at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), who was one of the guests at the European Radio Forum in Kraków, last week.
