Its purpose is promotion of investments in Japan in ICT - information and communication technology - sector from Central and Eastern Europe.

During their stay in Japan, participants will take part in a seminar about the Japanese ICT market and laws and regulations in the sector. They will visit “Japan IT Week”- one of the largest IT fairs in Japan, and several IT giants in Japan as well as institutions which support the business activities of foreign companies in Tokyo and Yokohama.

Danuta Isler spoke to Henryka Bochniarz, the president of the Lewiatan Polish Conferedation of Private Employers, who participated in several such missions in the past.

"This market, which was always fascinating for us, but looked like faraway and hard to get there, is becoming closer.

"I think now it's time for Poland to go to Japan," Henryka Bochniarz said when discussing the challanges of doing business in Japan.
