Insight into America

There are over 400 American Corners all over the world, providing access to information about the US via book collections, the internet, and through a variety of events such as public readings, films, speaker programs, workshops, meetings, and exhibits.

In Poland there are seven American Corners located in Gdańsk, Katowice, Lublin, Łódź, Radom and Wrocław -- and now in Warsaw.

Tomek Ferenc visited the newly opened facility in the Polish capital, where he spoke to Jadwiga Zakrzewska.

She told Radio Poland: "It's quite visible how much emphasis is currently on Polish-American relations because the Department of State and Secretary Kerry himself wanted this American space here in Warsaw to be a priority among other spaces."
