Polish economic success praised
OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria visited Warsaw over the weekend to mark the 20th anniversary of Poland joining the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

In an address, he praised Poland for its impressive economic progress over the last two decades, Michał Owczarek reports.
“Poland has made impressive progress in raising living standards between 1990 and 2015 … Today, GDP per capita [in Poland] amounts to two-thirds of the OECD average, which is a very impressive achievement,” Gurria said.
