Poland needs more rural jobs: experts

During the event, rural development experts discussed the future of such jobs across the European Union and the implications of the current Common Agricultural Policy for farm-related employment.

Michał Owczarek was there to find out how Poland is doing in this area.

“What we are trying to address [in Poland] is to increase the role of small towns as centres for surrounding rural areas in order to bring better public service there,” said Paweł Chorąży from the Polish development ministry.
