Tuesday's session was also attended by the EU’s foreign minister, Federica Mogherini, as well as foreign ministers of Finland and Sweden which are EU members and have NATO partnership status.

Sławek Szefs reports that among the list of priority topics under review is Alliance and EU ability to resist a hybrid attack.

“We will cooperate in the European Center for Countering Hybrid Threats which will be hosted in Finland and both NATO and the EU will participate,” said Douglas Lute, the US ambassador at NATO Headquarters, during a press conference in Brussels.
