Friday sees the inauguration in Washington of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States. Although considered by many as a controversial choice, since his election last November, politicians from Poland's ruling party have been open about their high expectations of the presidency.
“Right after he was elected we had a telephone conversation, and the president assured me that policy will be calm and stable, and he even laughed, saying not to believe everything that was said, and what the papers were writing, as it wasn't true and everything will be all right. And I believe everything will be all right,” said President Andrzej Duda.
