Migration numbers force Poland to reconsider policy
Successive huge tides of migrants arriving in Europe have forced individual countries to re-examine their policies and relevant laws concerning foreigners seeking refuge.

Sławek Szefs reports that Poland is considering amendments to its law on foreigners with the intention to create measures guarding against illegal migrants who might pose a terrorist threat.
“The aim is to introduce new border procedures and accelerate deportation of persons attempting to cross illegally into Poland,” said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration.
